Contacts
Signals, touch, and stage
The three dimensions every contact has, and how the agent moves them.
Each contact carries three labels. The agent sets them from the conversation; you can override any of them on the contact.
Signal: how warm they are
| Signal | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | Just arrived; no read yet. |
| Hot | Asking to book, asking about price for a specific service, or asking to speak to someone. |
| Warm | Asking questions, engaged, not yet ready. |
| Cool | Stopped replying, said not now, or asked to stop. |
Signal changes appear in the Workstream as items like "signal: New → Cool".
Touch: the state of outreach
| Touch | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unassigned | No outreach yet. |
| Reaching out | The agent has sent messages and is waiting. |
| Responsive | They reply. |
| Unresponsive | Several messages, no reply; the agent slows down. |
| Do not contact | They opted out. The agent will not message them. |
Stage: where they are with you
| Stage | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Lead | Expressed interest. |
| Engaged | In a real conversation. |
| Booked | Has an appointment. |
| Customer | Has bought. |
| Lost | Closed without buying. |
Action: what the agent wants from you
Shown on the contact as Action: None, Review, or Intervene. Intervene is what puts a contact on the needs-attention list.
